दिल्ली पुलिस के सहयोग से कृष्णा पार्क, मौजपुर गमरी में छात्रों और स्थानीय निवासियों के एक समूह के लिए आत्म-रक्षा और कानूनी साक्षरता प्रशिक्षण सत्र आयोजित किया गया।
सेशन के दौरान, CAW सेल की लेडी हेड कॉन्स्टेबल नीतू ने आत्म-रक्षा के कई तरीकों का प्रशिक्षण दिया।
इसके बाद, पूर्व ACP वीरेंद्र पुंज ने एक ब्रीफिंग सेशन में बताया कि स्कूल के स्तर से ही कानूनी पढ़ाई करना कितना ज़रूरी है। उन्होंने इसे अपराध रोकने, करियर बनाने और महिलाओं व बच्चों के लिए सुरक्षित समाज बनाने का एक ज़रिया बताया।
भाग लेने वालों को बताया गया कि आत्म-रक्षा का इस्तेमाल तब किया जा सकता है जब खुद की या किसी और की जान-माल को तुरंत खतरे या नुकसान से बचाने के लिए कोई दूसरा कानूनी रास्ता या विकल्प न हो। कानून अपनी और किसी और की सुरक्षा के लिए उतनी ही और वैसी ही ताकत इस्तेमाल करने की इजाज़त देता है जितनी ज़रूरत हो—ठीक वैसे ही जैसे पुलिस खतरनाक अपराधियों से निपटने के लिए करती है—जब जान-माल का खतरा हो।
स्कूलों में कानून की आगे की शिक्षा से बच्चों और महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराधों से जुड़े विभिन्न प्रावधानों, जैसे कि जुवेनाइल एक्ट, POCSO, कार्यस्थल पर महिलाओं का यौन उत्पीड़न, साइबर कानून, वैवाहिक और घरेलू हिंसा के बारे में बुनियादी जानकारी मिलती है।
इसके अलावा, इसमें अन्य सिविल कानून भी शामिल हैं जिनकी ज़रूरत मकान-मालिक और किराएदार के मामलों, प्रॉपर्टी लॉ, कॉन्ट्रैक्ट लॉ, चेक बाउंस के मामलों और कंज्यूमर प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट को सुलझाने के लिए होती है। साथ ही, इसमें BNS, BNSS और BSA के प्रावधान भी शामिल हैं, जिनसे शिकायत और FIR दर्ज करने की प्रक्रिया, कानूनी सहायता के ज़रिए कोर्ट जाने के उपाय और ट्रायल की प्रक्रियाओं को समझा जा सकता है।
कानून की यह बुनियादी शिक्षा बहुत फायदेमंद है और चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट, कंपनी सेक्रेटरी, MBA, जज, पुलिस प्रॉसिक्यूटर, बैंकिंग और इंश्योरेंस तथा नेशनल लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी की परीक्षाओं में शानदार करियर के लिए आधार तैयार करती है।
बच्चों को अपने स्कूलों में ‘लीगल स्टडीज़’ विषय चुनने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।
इसके बाद, ‘गो एकेडमी’ के छात्रों ने इन मुद्दों पर एक नुक्कड़ नाटक भी पेश किया।

A 
self defence cum legal literacy training session was organised in collaboration with Delhi Police At Krishna पार्क, Maujpur Gamri, फॉर a group of students and local residents.
During session Lady Head Constable Nitu from CAW Cell trained various techniques of self
defence.
It was followed by a briefing session by Virender Punj former ACP on importance of pursuing legal studies right from the school level as a tool from crime prevention to career building and safe society for women and children.
Participants were made aware that self defence can be used when there is no opportunity for other lawful alternate or recourse is available to avoid immediate danger or harm to body and property of self and other person too. Law permits use of equal and opposite force required for self and someone else’s protection when there is danger to life and property as it is available to police to encounter with dreaded criminals.
Further education of law in schools gives basic knowledge of various provisions related with crime against children and women viz Juvwnile Act, POCSO, Sexual Harassment of women at work place, Cyber Laws, Matrimonial and Domestic Violence.
Apart it contains other civil laws which required to solve land lord and tenants issues, Property Law, Contract Law, Cheque Bounce matters, Consumer Protection Act, Provisions of BNS, BNSS and BSA in general to understand procedure to file complaints and FIR and remedy to approach Court also through Legal Aids and to understand trial procedures.
These basic law educations is fruitfull and lay foundation for Chartered Accountant Company Secretary MBA Judge Police Prosecutor Banking and Insurance and National Law University exams as bright career options.
Children were motivated to choose Legal Studies subject in their schools.
Thereafter Go Academy students staged a nukkar natak on above issues too.
